Top Ten Tuesday: Historical Settings

This week's Ten:
Top Ten Historical Settings You Love

There weren't ten time periods I could think of - at least not which I really loved reading about/having books set in - so I ended up with five time periods/ideas but ten books They are the only books from those settings that I loved, but they are ten of the top ones!

Victorian England
Colonial America During Victorian Times

The Madman's Daughter by Megan Shepherd

Etiquette and Espionage by Gail Carriger

These Shallow Graves by Jennifer Donnellly

Rebel Mechanics by Shanna Swendson

A Madness So Discreet by Mindy McGinnis

Wildthorn by Jane Eagland

The Tudor Period

Futuristic AI-Having Realities

The Leveller by Julia Durango

The Near-Future

Lock-In by John Scalzi

The Martian by Andy Weir

In (or Around) the French Revolution
Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly

They didn't make my list because I have not yet read/finished/reviewed them but These Vicious Masks (tour review coming Friday!), Bluescreen and maybe A Drop of Night fit these settings, too!

Please leave a comment and let me know your favorite historical/futuristic settings and/or the books set in one that you love!
