Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly meme
hosted by Breaking the Spine
Pair my having recently read - and loved - Heather Anastasiu's Glitch where computer chips have gotten rid of harmful emotion in people with Cat Patrick's Revived and its scientific approach to so much including the family dynamic being one of my favorite novels and add in having a brother who has had "Bourne Identity" on TV more times than I can count (and it always draws me in) . . .hosted by Breaking the Spine
The book one book in particular that I'm waiting on is:
Mila 2.0 by Debra Driza
Pitched as a "Bourne Identity"-type sci-fi thriller about a teenage girl who discovers that she is a Mobile Intel Life-like Android, an experiment in artificial intelligence created by the U.S. government, and her scientist mother, who kidnapped her when she was found to have human emotions.
I am eagerly awaiting Mila 2.0's March 12, 2013 release from Katherine Tegen Books, a Harper imprint. (It is the first in a series.)
Add it to you Goodreads here; pre-order from Amazon or TBD
What is it you're waiting on this week?
